Who remembers our sweet beautiful Octavia from our EPIC park rescue in SF??? Her initial rescue post was on January 21st, with a foster update on April 13th. Sooooo many kind folks took part in her crazy 2 day rescue and several literally bled to make sure she got inside to safety ๐ฅน
Well bunny people, we have some AMAZING news! Miss Octavia is married now, having found herself a smol older husbun named Casper ๐๐๐๐๐ฅณ๐๐๐๐ฅฐ Congratulations to the new couple and to Octavia for finding her furever home!
Her absolutely WONDERFUL new mom says:
โI recently adopted Octavia after Casperโs previous partner Phoenix passed away. Jessica brought several bunnies for speed dating, and Casper immediately felt safe and calm around Octavia. She is the sweetest, most mellow girl – like a golden retriever puppy in bunny form!
Octavia loves pets, even plays fetch with her ball*, and helps Casper, who is shy and easily startled, feel calm and secure.
They are like yin & yang, not only in their colors: Casper is cautious and high energy, while Octavia is calm and confident. After a few months of bonding, they are now happily free-roaming the apartment together. Weโre so grateful to have her!โ
Such a fabulous outcome for lovely Octavia – and Casper too! Nothing like a wife nearly double your size to make you feel safe ๐๐ฅน๐ฐ๐ฐโค๏ธ They truly make sure a great match and Iโm overjoyed to see them so happy together ๐ Yโall she went from dumped in a park, scared & alone, to married to the cutest guy and safe with a loving, smart mom!!!
