Save a Rabbit

Adopt

If you are ready to provide a forever home, consider adopting one of the rescued rabbits. Adoption not only saves a life but also makes space for OSB to rescue more rabbits in need.

Looking for a partner for your existing rabbit? Speed dating is available!

Volunteer

Fostering: OSB is currently in urgent need of fosters for the rabbits. Fostering involves taking care of the rabbits temporarily until they can be permanently adopted. It’s a vital part of the rescue effort, and OSB can provide you with all the necessary supplies.

Rescue Operations: If you’re physically in or near Oakland, volunteering for rescue operations could be a great way to help. This might involve assisting in the physical rescue and transportation of rabbits found on the streets.

Make a Donation

Direct Donations: You can donate money to help with the medical care, food, and other essential supplies for the rabbits.

Use Venmo (@Jessica-Peters-32) to send your contributions directly.

Amazon Wishlist: Purchase items directly from OSB’s Amazon wishlist, which includes essential supplies that are needed for the daily care of the rabbits.

*All proceeds and donations go directly to caring for the health and well-being of the rescue rabbits.

What Drives Us

Our Mission

Oakland Street Bunz is a one-woman grassroots operation rescuing “dumped” rabbits off the Oakland streets and beyond.  Jessica, a vegan activist for over 25 years, has provided care, vaccinations, medical attention, and adoptions for hundreds of rabbits in the last few years.

OSB is completely volunteer-supported and greatly relies on compassionate folks’ kindness, generosity, and efforts. Thank you! <3
