Nicky was rescued from East Oakland on a cold Christmas Day (hence the name) and his wife Lilly was scooped in West Oakland only a few months later.
Their foster is SO GREAT at making enrichment fun for them! I always love to see what fun they have getting their snacks in new and intriguing ways 👏 It really keeps life interesting for bunnies for their veg & pellets to be “bowl free” and more forage play oriented. I highly encourage this – for your bunnies sake AND for the comedy show it always brings 🐇🤣🐰 Check out the latter videos for some ideas 💡
Recently their foster went out of town and I was sent this cute text by their sitter….
“Watching the bunnies and omg they are so sweet and cute!!!! Nicky & Lilly are so engaged with me and incredibly soft and social! Watching the pigeons say hi to them was so adorable 🥹 These bunnies really seem like the perfect pair. Whoever adopts them will be so lucky!”
