Volunteer
Fostering: OSB is currently in urgent need of fosters for the rabbits. Fostering involves taking care of the rabbits temporarily until they can be permanently adopted. It’s a vital part of the rescue effort, and OSB can provide you with all the necessary supplies.
Rescue Operations: If you’re physically in or near Oakland, volunteering for rescue operations could be a great way to help. This might involve assisting in the physical rescue and transportation of rabbits found on the streets.

Our Mission
Oakland Street Bunz is a one-woman grassroots operation rescuing “dumped” rabbits off the Oakland streets and beyond. Jessica, a vegan activist for over 25 years, has provided care, vaccinations, medical attention, and adoptions for hundreds of rabbits in the last few years.
OSB is completely volunteer-supported and greatly relies on compassionate folks’ kindness, generosity, and efforts. Thank you! <3

Sweet Vivian was rescued by a gas station on Fruitvale Ave. and was found shot by a bullet. After receiving emergency medical care, she was nurtured back to health and is now hoppily in her furever home

Tater and Cinnabun are SO HAPPY in their new home! Their furever family is absolutely over the moon in love with them. Bunnies like Tater and Cinnabun prove the rescue effort is worthwhile and that animals can come from the worst possible settings and yet still have trust and love for those who are kind to them.
