A lovely update on Chuck & Carrie, two of the 5 rabbits rescued from unethical OAS pet store transfers.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n This sweet couple arrived from the Stockton transfer rescue in pretty rough shape. Chuck, who\u2019s dressed in black, had quite a few bite wounds (some active, some scabbed) and Carrie had a couple as well. It was clear they were in stress and had been experiencing some relationship issues, largely around food.<\/span><\/p>\n While it\u2019s not uncommon for one bun in a couple to be a bit too assertive around food (looking at you sassy girl buns! \ud83d\ude02\ud83e\uddd0\ud83e\udd28\ud83d\ude02), in this case it seemed as if these issues had gone unchecked and worsened by stress overall. Beyond the signs of biting each other, they also weren\u2019t cuddling each other as much and seemed stressed & disgruntled with each other.<\/span><\/p>\n Being a calm, stable & experienced foster home for a month has made a huge difference! Fostering really DOES save lives y\u2019all!!! Chuck & Carrie have come such a long way this month \ud83d\ude4f\ud83d\udcaa\ud83d\udc4f\u2764\ufe0f\ud83d\udc07 They are cuddling so much more, not chasing or biting and getting much calmer about sharing their food.
